Title: Business Development Director
Location: Bronx, NY (hybrid)
Status: Full-Time
Salary: Base salary of $115,000 + bonuses ($126,000-$140,000 with projected bonuses)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director to lead our strategic marketing and sales efforts. Responsibilities:
Marketing & Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy to support CHCA’s strategic growth plan.
- Identifies and leverages CHCA’s core strengths and market differentiators, including the agency’s unique cooperative model.
- Conducts detailed market analysis to identify new business opportunities and understand competitive landscapes.
- Prepares actionable and measurable marketing plan, identifying priorities, timetable, staffing, and required investments.
- Works with Senior leadership to negotiate better rates for services.
Sales & Partnerships
- Lead outreach and relationship building with key referral sources including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers.
- Build strategic partnerships that drive client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Represent CHCA at networking events, industry conferences, and community functions.
Team Development & Brand Oversight
- Build a marketing team of bilingual marketers and manage intake coordinator to support the marketers and to expedite client enrollment process.
- Monitor CHCA’s online platforms (website, social media pages) for effectiveness (SEO, lead generation/conversion, etc.), and facilitate needed updates/improvements.
- Oversee internal training and customer service initiatives to support sales and retention.
Reporting & Performance Evaluation
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on growth efforts, risks, and opportunities for senior leadership.
- Monitor effectiveness of campaigns and partnerships, adjusting tactics as needed for optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare, with a strong understanding of long-term care and managed care.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in marketing or business development roles, preferably in home health or similar sectors.
- Demonstrated success growing both public and private pay lines of business.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
- Deep knowledge of State Medicaid and Federal Medicare regulations.
